Facts About Colema
Colema Board is one of the main tools of a COLEMA therapy. The name COLEMA, founded and coined by Dr. Bernard Jensen, is a combination of 2 colon cleansing method- Colonic and Enema. Colema’s aims are to detoxify, cause weight loss and lead to body rejuvenation.
How To Use Colema Board
When you are applying Colema method, you use a special designed colema board where you place one end of the colema board on a chair and the other end on the toilet bowl. Place a bucket of 5-gallons warm filtered water on a rack about 3-4 ft high above the board. A tube is placed in the bucket, extended to the board where is it assembled through a splash shield.
You lie on the board on your back with knees bent with your buttocks placed up against the board’s splash shield. A pencil sized, lubricated rectal tube is inserted about 3inch into the rectum once only for the entire process. It is not removed from the rectum for evacuation as fecal matter/wastes are released around the rectal tip. Water from the bucket flow at its own gravity and you can control it using a clamp provided.
Your may massage your own abdomen as water enters the bowel and you release it in a relaxed manner as the urge come on naturally. Water and fecal waste will flow out around the tip into the toilet. This process keeps going until the bucket of water is finished.
